Life has been happening....

Gosh I haven't been on here for weeks now... my life was going so smooth and great then all of a sudden... things took a change... my granddaughter broke her leg... a very bad break... she had 15 screws and 2 plates to put her back together...in hospital  about  week... She is not to put weight on that leg for 8 to 12 weeks... now that is a long time for a child...  Then the oldest granddaughter had her graduation party in which she put me to work making a scrapbook just 2 weeks before the party... plus then she asked me to make her about 100 thank you notes.  So now that had me busy for some time... then this last weekend I spend in the hospital with my hubby because his heart was acting up again... He has had 3 heart attacks in the past so we make sure he gets to the hospital ASAP...but this time all the tests came back normal...thank goodness.  But he was very upset because  things  didn't get done fast enough so we could attend our granddaughter's graduation ceremony...Our granddaughter was so very understanding about the whole thing.   So I am hoping that things will settle down now... Sure hope I didn't bore you about all  the things going on ... Let's move on...

Now to the fun things again.... I have three pictures to show you of Nancy's embroidery... I just love these... She is making dish towels with  embroidery  recipes on them.  The pics I have are really just scrap pieces but I thought they would still look good in some type of frame for on the wall.... she had some towels done but they went out to folks as fast as she put them together so I hope to get some pictures of the next ones she get completed.  Well if you get a chance please let Nancy know what you think about them... thanks for looking!!!  Will post the towels hopefully in the near future.  Oh those of you that are good at crafts: Would you know where someone could get embroidery hoops that are oval and about 11 or 12 inches in height?  Because we think this first hoop is too large but wasn't able to find a smaller oval one.

Have a great day!!!!

Ribbons and Rosettes

This card I used the Cricut Ribbons and Rosettes cartridge.  I add a dragon fly that I made.

Mator

Here is the front and inside of a card for a little boy.  I used the Cars Cricut cartridge for  the truck and the Old West Cartridge for the letters.

Day Two...

Today is day 2 of our new blog and NK has not seen it yet..hope she will like it... I am sure she will take a peek at it later today.   I just receive 2 new cricut cartridges this morning  now I have Art Deco and Spring Cottage so I will be off playing again.  The Art Deco has a couple cars on it so I can do a few more masculine cards with it!!! I love the cars... my hubby and I spend some time at cars shows through the summer months.

I am also working on some graduation items for my oldest Granddaughter (graduating from High School) which I will share when they are finished but I need to do some shopping  for the right color 12 x12 sheets of card stock.  Shopping - oh yes one of the joys of life... that I am sure is one of NK 's quotes.

Time to check out those cars!!!!

Masculine Cards...

Here are some of  the masculine cards I have done this month also... boy I have a hard time coming up with masculine cards for some reason.  But I did get a few new cartridges from cricut and they have helped a lot... Love the car and truck items on the cartridges.  Now hope to be able to add my cards as I go.

Assorted cards.

Here are a few cards that I have made..  I am new to blogging so hope to learn as I go.
